Sustainability

Here at Curtimade Dairy we strive to improve all of the time – which also includes being environmentally sound. So, we look at the word “sustainable” as having multiple layers to it’s definition. What that means is we have to be sustainable to keep our land and animals healthy and productive, and that also overlaps with being a sustainable family business – economically sustainable. We have to have something to pass down from generation to generation.

Fun Fact: On average, water is recycled four to five times for various uses throughout Curtimade Dairy! All of the cows manure is also recycled, for either bedding purposes or to be used as fertilizer for the crops.
